Oats has been grown for thousands of years and it's recognised both as a food and feed crop.
The Nordic region has perfect climate conditions for production of high quality oats, and about 10% of the global oat production of about 26 million tons is produced in this region.

Oats the healthy choice
Oats are a well known health-promoting and tasty cereal, rich in dietary fiber.
Compared to other cereals oats have several nutritional advantages. Whole grain oat is rich in a soluble fiber, known as beta-glucan, which is known to reduce both elevated cholesterol levels and the glycemic repsonse after meals.
